Top Hose (Kangen Water Collection): The top hose of the Kangen Water machine dispenses purified, alkaline water, which is safe for drinking and other uses. Water collected from this hose during the 8.5, 9.0, and 9.5 pH settings is intended for consumption, while the 6.0 pH setting provides acidic water for skin care and personal hygiene. This hose ensures that the water is free from impurities and byproducts of the electrolysis process.

Bottom Hose (Acidic Water and Wastewater): The bottom hose of the Kangen Water machine releases acidic water, typically with a pH of 2.5, and also expels some wastewater containing impurities and byproducts from the electrolysis process. This water is intended for external use, such as cleaning, disinfection, and certain non-consumable applications, but it is not recommended for drinking or bathing, especially for sensitive skin.

Safe Use of Acidic Water (Bottom Hose): Acidic water from the Kangen machine, especially when collected from the bottom hose, should be used with caution. While 6.0 pH acidic water from the top hose is safe for skin care and hygiene, water from the bottom hose may contain impurities and should be limited to non-consumable uses like cleaning and disinfecting surfaces. It is not recommended for bathing, particularly for babies or those with sensitive skin.

Safe Use of Acidic Water (Top Hose): Acidic water from the Kangen machine, particularly when collected from the top hose at a pH of 6.0, is safe and beneficial for several applications. This water can be used for:

  • Skin Care: As a toner to balance the skin’s pH and soothe irritations.
  • Hair Care: As a rinse to improve shine and smoothness.
  • Oral Hygiene: As a gentle mouthwash to reduce bacteria.
  • Gardening: For watering acid-loving plants.

It’s important to note that while 6.0 pH acidic water from the top hose is safe for these uses, acidic water from the bottom hose (often with impurities) should be reserved for non-consumable applications, such as cleaning and disinfecting surfaces. This bottom hose water is not recommended for bathing, especially for babies or those with sensitive skin.
